Between 30 and 40 fps at 800p (Deck's native resolution) maxed. Beware, it was eating battery quite fast.
Like others, use 720p and not the Deck's 800p. Expect little borders atop and bottom.
Everything is good. Only caveat is the main menu's audio player. You won't get any sound. Same with Proton an GE 7.38.
Everything is good here. The game runs great (was a PSVita release and was not running great there). You could limit the game to 40fps, but you won't get much playtime, as the game is not demanding.
Obviously, the AC mode is hard to use on a SteamDeck small/Low Res screen. Prefer CS mode.
Random black screen after loadings. Never goes away and can only shut down the game with the Steam menu
Needed to switch to keyboard emulation as gamepad was ineffective
Game randomly freeze when calling the Steam Deck overlay
Need much tinkering to get the game running on Deck and is still really unbstable. Not recommended for now.
Works perfectly well. Resolution limited to 720p, expect little black borders top and bottom.
All text is unreadable.
All 2D works is just white cubes. Only 3D is ok. Not very playable.
For now, starts and technically plays OK, but anything in 2D is wrong. Unreadable text and all shots in 2D is just big white squares. Not pleasant
Be carefoul though. Game does not always plays nice with Deck's sleep mode. When leaving sleep, you could get broken sound (crackling noises). You'll need to restart the game.
Use touchscreen to configure launcher. You'll need to reconfigure bouttons for the gamepad.
Game runs half the speed. All slowmode.
The games runs in slowmode. Know Proton problem, fix 30fps instead of 60.
Slowdown sometimes
Works OK, with slowdowns. Not optimised and unfinished
Tested on Deck in portable and with a Xbox One Gamepad in bluetooth in desktop mode. Both works ok.
Everything is perfect. Change in game option screen mode to Fullscreen or Borderless Window for native screen resolution. With the Deck touchscreen, even "bonus" interactions works like the Vita.
Like another user said, default mapping is weird. Just remap ingame and switch fullscreen.
Can't run the game. By default, just a black screen then "crash to desktop". Even with wineD3D command, gives an D3D error then crash to desktop.
Game not optimised for Multi-Core as the time of this report. Expect VERY choppy performances in endgames (1IG second = 5 IRL seconds)
Intro movie is just black.
As today (10/09/2022), the game runs fine and is playable (have yet to finish the game). There are some minors hiccups: Intro movie is just black. Only Subtitles. Game does not really like the Deck screen resolution. The game have a set of pre-defined resolutions, nothing good for the deck. This means some elements are drawn outside the screen (some subtitles and bosses health bars are cut on each sides). No cloud save support for now.
Updating my previous Report. After some exchanges with the devs ont the Steam forums, he updated the resolution choices and the interface. No more cut health bars. Only the intro movie is full black with defaut Proton. Switch to GE 7.35. Game is still fully playable without the movie (subtitles are stil present).
