Perfect!
Controller only works in CS Mode, AC Mode only seems to work with keyboard and mouse.
Just click launch after verifying that the resolution is what you want to use.
Be sure not to start the game with the screen beyond hitting "Launch" or it will detect mouse and keyboard and ignore button input.
Everything works great! Just need to use the screen to hit launch.
Works perfectly using Proton Experimental flatpak community build 7.0-20221115

There are no tech problems and CS/DLC mode plays perfectly, but AC mode is nigh-unplayable on the Deck's screen and that's half the game.
Basically all text in AC mode is illegible, even with the magnifier.
It's not just text in AC mode, but also more critical elements like enemy bullets that are very difficult to see.
Obviously, the AC mode is hard to use on a SteamDeck small/Low Res screen. Prefer CS mode.
Outside of the dual screen mode, game runs flawlessly
Dual screen does not work as intended, squishing the display onto my 2nd display instead.
The game works fine and the saves were carried over nicely from a previous Win10 installation via Steam Cloud. DUALSHOCK 4 worked without issues in the game (for 2 Players and up, make sure to select the additional controllers in the OPTIONS of the game).
Dual screen is not supported, which is a deal breaker in AC mode for those with dual monitors. I spent quite a bit of time trying to get both monitors to display and was not able to find a solution.
Dual screen not supported.
flawless
Almost flawless except the "vinyl sound" sometimes
Sometimes it sounds as a vinyl record. :)

Game itself runs perfectly, however dual-screen is not properly supported. If dual screen mode is selected, image will only display on one monitor and will be squished. As yet there is no known fix I have been able to find.

Works out of the box. Recognized my 3 controllers including 2 exotic arcade controllers. No input lag, perfectly smooth.

Flawless. when playing with pad, it needs to be activated on the AC settings, otherwise only keyboard is enabled (this is a fault of the game, not proton)

Crashed the very first time I ran it, right after the display config window. After that it was fine. I played several times since then and it hasn't crashed at all. Performance is perfect.

Everything works out of the box including Xbox One controller, performance is like native.
