This game basically runs like native, apart from the intro movie and animated story cutscenes
The only thing I found that was borked was the intro movie and the animated cutscenes in the story (the scenes with the character dialogue and their sprites are fine). Performance is smooth, audio works fine, multiplayer is able to connect and play matches

Alt-tabbing can sometimes cause a freeze when playing fullscreen, but this is an inherent problem as this can happen on Windows as well. Just play on borderless to avoid this.
Proton runs ETS2 amazingly in my experience, don't use the native version because it has terrible performance
Windowed mode has really sluggish performance, full screen works fine
I ran the game without these options on this version of Proton as well and it was also playable, but the game is smoother this way
Runs great, other than the spirit box and ouija board not working, and a one-time frame drop in my first match.
You aren't able to use the spirit box or ouija board, so have others use them if they can.
First time getting into an actual match there was a significant, but still playable, frame drop (your mileage may vary, though). This didn't occur any subsequent times loading into the game or playing matches, and has since played with a consistent 60fps.
The game runs fine for me in fullscreen. Windowed was weird for me
