Lots of stuttering.
You need to use experimental, and do not use GE Proton, it will not go full screen.
Use Proton instead of Native. The devs left the linux/mac versions behind, and you will lose the ability to play with buddies.

Must use proton for a better experience. Native was stuttery and with kde the dock remained visiable.
Full screen showed my panels and docks. I use KDE Plasma, have to use Borderless.
After about an hour I rubberband in matches pretty hard. sometimes it will work itself out, sometimes it won't.
Runs well besides the random rubberbanding but I am unsure if i would or would not have that issue on windows.
You would but the input stuff is annying, make sure you run the launch option otherwise it is unplayable.

I am on m&k but the game is showing controller inouts on my screen. Looks like it is a PC issue as some windows users also have it? Still something I noticed.
Use the launch option --launcher-skip and the game will run good.
Opens in a 1cm square that crashes the whole pc, cant even xkill.
Sucks and there is no way this is GOLD rated. The game ran at 300 fps but stuttered like wild, reboot and now it opens in a tiny windows that cant be changed in config or launch options.

When asked if you want to play Ground Branch or DX12, do not use DX12
Make sure the game boots with Direct x11 (copy and paste the launch options) and that the is in borderless.

Full screen casues the game to not reliably boot up and also casues crashes. Run the game in borderless. IT will have a weird white outline but the game will boot every time and not crash.

Game will not boot if you leave the game on Fullscreen. You must use borderless (which is funny becasue there is a white border)
In launch options you need to force Directx11, and keep ingame set to borderless. You will have a great experience spreading democracy. Liberty never sleeps!
Will work without tinkering, but recomend the launch option and borderless for a better experience.

Use borderless or the game won't boot sometimes, ironically there is a white border around the screen 1 pixel wide.
Again, stick to borderless and you can spread democracy.

Not sure what happened as the game ran for me a few months ago but I am no longer able to play single player or multiplayer as the game crashes while loading into those playlists.

I tried a lot of fixes and wish it would run. Not sure how this game is platinum for everyone else but I cannot get the game to even boot up. Returning game for sure.
Keep getting a "Fatal Error!" when trying to select a server. EAC issue maybe?
IDK, everyone else saying they can just play but I have tried a few protons, GE protons, and launch options and nothing is fixing the "Fatal Error!" errror.

Simply turn off PhysX in the graphics settings and you will be good to go, if you have issues it will be from keeping htis tirned on.

Run the game in borderless fullscreen. I was having issues where the mouse curser would be on the screen and the only fix was to kill the game and relaunch. Borderless fixed this.
Everything worked. Invite friends and join friends through Steams Shift+Tab
Use Proton 9.2 or GE proton 9 over Proton experimental
Plug and play, I recommend Proton 9.2 or GE Proton 9-11

Game downloaded but when I tried to installer disapears and wouldn't let me do the initial installing process.

I had to use older proton to install and boot the game, and there is no audio.

Use older Proton and you wont have issues.
Simply use older proton and the rest will work.
Constant stuttering. Even at 100 fps it looks like a fast slide show
I tried GE Proton 20-25, and steam proton 6-8 and experiemental. All had this stuttering.

Used to have issues with the launcher but seems to have been fixed with Proton 9.
Used Proton Tricks and installed Ubisoft's trash launcher as the game needs it.
Game runs well, just unnoying to get the garbage ubisoft launcher and tinkering but once that is done you can set it and forget it. Enjoy!
On the launcher it blacked out a single time where I couldnt see the "Play" button to start the game. Only once and hasn't happened since.
Game crashes/wont boot if you have steam overlay, turn this off.
Again the game ran great AFTER turning Steam overlay off in the game's properties.
