I played through the base campaign and one other one (Paranoid) with no issues. It was multiplayer with one other Steam friend, so that works as well.

Sometimes when you hover your cards or plots, the screen will flash black for 1 frame. Nothing to write home about though.

There were zero issues. I was able to switch to windowed-mode in game and resize freely, experiencing no issues. I ran this natively with no Proton.

CachyOS' Proton allowed the game to run and you can play solo, but you cannot connect to other people's games. I had to run Proton 9.0-4 in the Helldivers 2 compatibility options in Steam, then it connected to games perfectly fine.
FIX: Right-click Helldivers 2 in your Steam Library --> Properties --> Compatibility --> Force the use of specific Steam Play compatibility tool --> Proton 9.0-4

You must use the Launch Option I specified to prevent a major physics-engine glitch.
I attempted to play a new game, and the opening scene in the horse-cart would completely bug out with the horses slamming around and throwing the cart, causing your character to die. There were zero issues throughout the rest of the game after using the recommended Launch Option.
