The game stalls at the CD Projekt Red and REDengine screens. After trying different version of proton and different launch options reported by others, I've had no success getting the game to start. However, it does work fine on my SteamDeck.

Attempted to use protontricks - winetricks to install mfc140.dll, but no success. Game will not start.

Had to force the use of Proton 9.0-2 as the game would not launch. Once I checked the box to use Proton 9.0-2, the game worked as expected with no issues.
