Have tried several proton versions.
I cannot get gamepad controls to work, tried a lot of different methods.
Only the directional pad + Y button are detected in game. Menus detect left joystick.
This game works just fine so far. Changing the controls layout to Keyboard (WASD) and mouse still allows play with the controller sticks.
In game text is on the small side.
Much of the in game text is very small on the steam deck screen.
Cloud saves do not seem to work correctly, I lost a char between my pc and steam deck.
Game can run a slight bit slow sometimes, but still very playable.
Stuttering is a problem with standard Proton 8.0-4. GE works okay for me but i'd advise to try others as well.
Just press the A button at the entry screen as anything else makes it seem that the controls don't work.
Controls are not working for me at least and at this time. Plus text that describes items or upgrade choices is super small and hard to read
Tried unsuccessfully to customize the controls but nothing allowed me to exit the escape shuttle.
All text descriptions on secondary systems were nearly impossible to read(Tiny).
I just installed and played without needing to change anything. I've not played for very long but no issues thus far.
Controller needs heavy remaping but even then it's super awkward to use.
Game runs very well apart from annoying menu issue. But the touch screen circumvents this issue for now.
I lowered the watts to 7
The text for items and in game menus is very small.
In game menus are sometimes unresponsive or only partially responsive.
This game installs and loads just fine but there is no way to control it and no controller layouts had any affect.
Attempted to set up a unique layout.
Game will only load with full screen disabled. But it loads as fullscreen anyway as opossed to windowed.
There was not way to interact with the game other than touch screen and even then its nothing more than a left click (position touched on screen has no meaning).
Maybe older versions of proton GE or Experimental will allow recognition of controls.
Videos don't play, instead you get a SMPTE screen.
Once in game change the display mode (in graphics settings) to borderless. Plus the resolution to 1280x 720 as it'll be 640x 360 by default.
Screen looks like it's vibrating.
Fullscreen causes the vibrating image. Change to borderless.
Game runs well after those two changes.
Cut scenes do not play, instead you get SMPTE color bars.
You need to go into the gear option/properties/compatibility/force proton 7.0-6
Runs great out of the box.
