I couldn't get it to work.
I tried protontricks and it still would get the same error.
It works better with 4.11 than 5.0
With version 5.0-4 the menu music would cut out sometimes.
I had the game freeze once after playing a song with 5.0-4
In both versions 5.0-4 and 4.11-13 The Gray background is the same is the same as the black background and the autopick option for the background always picks the white background. In version 5.0-4 the graphics setting would change by itself.
Disabled like other reports did.
Framerate drops mostly when loading new areas.
Turned off all the graphics settings to help with the framerate.
It works as long you use a keyboard and mouse.
with all of my controllers(xbox 360, logitech f310, and dualshock4) the camera controls wouldn't work and the character would keep shooting.
The game works very well a later version of proton must have fixed the issues with the old reports.
Maybe. The Graphics and FPS are Great, but the audio and cut scenes are messed up. I used 4.11-13 as 5.0-5 wouldn't work.
Music works for a while then it stops then only the voices and sound effects work then no audio at all.
Videos don't work. I wasn't able to launch with Proton 5.0-5 the game would give me a warning about not having enough ram. I used 4.11-13 the game would give me a warning about my vram before launching, but it worked anyway.
Disabling Esync didn't really help with the audio.
Freezes once in awhile usually in combat.

If you can deal with the screen tearing. It's not bad.

This game runs really well.
The game didn't support my native resolution(1600 x 900) so I used the closest resolution that wasn't above mine(1152 x 864).

It doesn't work as well as Shantae and the pirate's curse, but it's still pretty good.
Screen tearing when in full screen.
Had to press alt+enter to full screen. game doesn't launch properly after exiting with full screen. A workaround is to go back to windowed mode before exiting.

I was able to play co-op with my brother.
native multiplayer only works with linux and mac.
