The launcher refuses to start on my system, but it's trivial to bypass it with the listed launch option.

I can't say if the performance is close to what you'd get with Windows as I've never tried it on that platform, but I'm easily able to average 60+ FPS on the default settings at 1440p.
The game fails to launch after some time. I do not recommend buying this game until it is fixed.

Minor stutters when loading in new things, otherwise, ran as expected.
After a while, the game will crash and flat out refuse to run again. The only workaround I found was completely reinstalling the game-- which is easier said than done thanks to its size.

Grass flickers on and off if you use the AMDVLK drivers.
It will regularly crash a few minutes into a round if you do not use the AMDVLK drivers, whether or not you run it native or through proton/ge.
Besides the typical Gaijin stuff, it ran well.
Using the AMDVLK drivers is essential if you wish to actually play the game. Otherwise, it's as fun as War Thunder can be.
Even though I use GE, it runs with little to no tweaking required.
