The game runs fun, and had no issues Was able ot run it in fullscreen and windowed mode without issue
a fun quick game that runs in Unity No issues, consistent frame rates and runs like native
After making the changes to get GE-Proton7-49 and adding the launch options for audio sync all is good
GST_PLUGIN_FEATURE_RANK=protonaudioconverterbin:NONE %command%
I recommed running the game using GE-Proton7-49 to get the required files for the cutscenes and the audio to work Then run this command: GST_PLUGIN_FEATURE_RANK=protonaudioconverterbin:NONE %command% to sync the audio properly and you have no issues
Game works fine afterwards and I am able to load saves and everything without issue
Runs like native
Just start it up and have fun, this game works as expected without issues. Totally sit back and enjoy that early platformer jank fun
Game runs as if native without issues
The game runs great, it's like native My only recommendation is not to use the native binds and find a community layout to get better controller support (this is not exclusive to Linux, but also a windows thing). The buttons are weirldy placed as it was before standards
black screen on boot
I was able to hear the music but no visuals, completely black screen
a fun game if like titles similar to Mega Man Battle Network, Undertale, and the Mario & Luigi rpgs. runs like native on Steam Deck and Linux, a great time.
The pinball parts are perfect and it runs normally without any issue here However during story bits the characters are facing away
during story bits the characters are facing away
I think the game works fine, it will run smoothly, and at expected performance
The game seems to not include an option to go from fullscreen to winow, or to change resolution in it's settings. This is in the game itself, not a proton issue
The game runs fine, it works as expected, cutscenes seem to be working and no real issues The only problem is that the dev did not include custom resolution scaling options or an option to turn on and off Fullscreen/windowed mode
I think the game runs perfectly well in Linux and could even be considered Linux Verified if the start up menu could be updated.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
When using Vulkan and going into Croft Manor, the Hedge Maze can cause dramatic fps dips to below 30fps while the rest of the game runs at a near consistent 144fps.
This only happens with Vulkan, enabling OpenGL with PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% seems to not have the same issue and maintains a near perfect 144fps throughout gameplay.
enabling OpenGL with PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% seems to yield the best performance right now with a much more consistent frame rate
The game runs great Make sure "Next Gen Content" is turned off and if you are using a widescreen monitor to set it to Widescreen mode
You will get a CPU error if you have "Next Gen Content" enabled in settings This seems to be an issue with Windows as well, make sure to have it disabled
I think the game runs great with Proton, but I recommend Glorious Eggroll addition here for cut scenes
Game Works okay, but you may need this code PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command%
