Most likely will run fine, although the game seems to be fixed at 60 fps, and that can be a turn down for some.
The camera would do a spin (like you where spining a joystick around) if would move it quickly from side to side, could be a game problem and does not happen with the smooth camera option enabled.
I tried it with proton-experimental at first and the menu wouldnt load properly and the game would crash after a minute or two, i'm now running proton-GE and it worked fine for about 10 minutes with no crashes. It seems that using the zen kernel helps it.

Had to change to proton 7.0-6 proton-GE crashed on ubisoft launcher, proton 8 didnt even launch and proton experimental crashed upon getting to the menu
Runs pretty good on proton experimental, only the end of level videos wont show. Proton-GE crashes on those movies, not recomended.
VoIP does not work, you can hear people but the mic wasnt working

using proton-ge crashes tha game on movies, using proton experimental does not, however there are no videos and there was some stutter on firsst loading the level

Heavy artifacting on lighing effects, didnt happen inside a match, only menus and hero selection.
Game seems to just be poorly optimized, but still got around 5-10% lest fps than a friend with a 4070 on windows. Even frame gen is not enough, got arround 100 fps on medium low at 1440p. Performance degrades over the course of the match
I just hope its a fluke with the anti cheat
worked fine with proton ge, didnt actualy play it with other versions, but during the pre download the menu was at 5 fps with expetimental
during the pre download the in game browser that showed news was white
game wouldnt go past 70 fps before i lowered some graphics

Stuck on loading splash for a few minutues, gave up after a while
tried also proton ge with the same results, could be my setup as alvr is not working great for me.

Had to force openxr on steam vr settings or the game would recognize the headset (quest 2)
Basically confirming that it is a Nvidia issue. Did not work on my nvidia card a last time i tried but worked basically wothout issues with my amd card (the issue is expected by the game and it shows you what to do)
EAC Not enabled
Game uses EOS version of EAC but proton compatibility is not enabled
asside form the performance hit, the game is pretty much compatible. Its completely playabe at arround 40-50 fps for more causal players
Could see the seems in the mountains, but could be a bug with the new update
alt tabing sometimes bugs the fullscreen and makes it not fill the whole screen, fixed by alt tabing out and in again
From the 90+fps i used to have on windows to about 40-50 fps, but more stable with less stutter and less drops.
the patch notes said they added a new anti-cheat, it's EAC, but didnt give me any trouble.
Game install corrupted 2 times, but in the end installed fine, cant join servers because EAC kicks me before loading ends
As of the Nesting update it no longer works. Hopefully the devs will enable it.
