Crash
-dx11
Crashes consistently for me on entering gameplay, even on lowest possible settings.
Worked perfectly out of the box.
Even had better FPS in more hectic situations than Windows.
Could probably enjoy this just fine if you have a retro playlist on standby.
No audio whatsoever works. Not that PCspeaker DOS sounds are much to miss, but it certainly brings down the atmosphere.
Hope someone finds a way to get the sound working.
Wouldn't start with current or experimental. No other issues.
Turned up the LOD bias and the framerate was the same as on Windows.
Any game slowdown felt with many enemies around was also present on Windows. No Linux-specific problems here.

No clue how this game works better on Linux than Windows. It barely works on Windows at all, but on Linux there's not a crash to be seen. It can only be the vodka powered magics of eastern Europe.
Native works just fine.
Seems to not work at all on some people's systems, though.
Ping was consistent with other games. No issues.
Notable lack of a sprite rendering bug related to fullscreen that I had in Windows. Works perfect with no tinkering.
Minor controller issue. Resolved by disabling joystick control of mouse, which was on by default in my distro for some reason.
Had to turn off joystick mouse control in my distro. Worked fine after. No clue why it was on by default.
It's Stardew Valley. It's fantastic.
Took some doing to find where to put my saves from Windows. Shoutouts to the PCGaming Wiki for the help.
Had to force it through proton to get it to launch despite being natively supported. Very strange, but that's all it took to work perfectly.
Had some great rounds with a friend.
Notably better performance than I experienced on Windows.

x3 scale fullscreen cuts off parts of the screen. x2 or x1 scale work fine.
Once you change the launch settings it works perfectly.
