The one and only broken setting is "Post Processing Quality" option - above medium cripples fps.It works BEAUTIFULLY Otherwise.
So the ONLY slowdown I experienced was specifically with the "Post processing quality" setting; setting this above Medium would tank my FPS down to 1-3FPS, setting it to medium and under, I can turn everything else up to Ultra and get 60+FPS. So basically, it's JUST a problem with a minor graphics setting. Works fantastic otherwise.
Hard to recommend this when performance on 1000 series GTX cards is so bad out of the box in LInux.
Some texture glitching and other odd effects from time to time. Hard to tell if bad programming or just graphics glitches due to proton given how poorly the game seems to be programmed.
Stupid amounts of tinkering and overclocking GPU resulted in a playable framerate, but unfortunately performance is pretty damn bad on a 1070 Ti with this game in Linux.
Yeah - aside from the Esc key needing rebound in the options menu, it works totally fine.
Minor - before playing, change the control settings so Menu is bound to the ` key (under Esc) instead of Esc. For some reason, it does not recognize the Esc key. Otherwise, it works fine. Inputs feel slidey but I'm pretty sure that's just the game.
Easy Anti-Cheat is Borked.
Can't run the game; it locks up at the Anti-Cheat menu.
Game is considered unsecure when running in Proton, which sucks because the native version is janky and laggy for me.
Come on, valve. Get with the program.
