Only tried launching the demo. I get a "Fatal Error" dialog and the game crashes.
Didn't launch due to a DX11 issue on default Proton.
It used to run a few days ago. It does not today. I get language prompts on first launch, then it crashes to desktop.
It fails to download voice packs if you don't select the default English US voices. It doesn't launch after the first crash.
Only launches into the game proper with Proton Experimental. Then you need to fiddle with the language selection prompt on first launch.
Launches to a black screen for a second before crashing (if it even creates the black screen at all) unless using Proton Experimental.
The game won't get past the language selection screen unless a text language other than the default (English (US)) is chosen. Then, in the prompt to choose a voice language, choosing a non-default voice pack causes the game to launch the Steam download of the voice pack but without acknowledging it, therefore failing and not allowing you to proceed to the game. Here, choosing the default voice language (English (US)) allows the game to continue to the next prompts and ultimately to the main game with no problems.
Language can be changed from the in-game settings menu afterwards without any issue.
Can't even play it.
Game didn't render any graphics (menus were visible) until supersampling was turned off
At a certain point in the demo and benchmark, the game crashes so hard that it takes with it my whole desktop environment and forces it to reboot
Very infrequent crashes. Appears to happen when many smoke/fire "clouds" FX appear on screen.

The game very occassionally crashes my GPU forcing me to the OS login screen.
Seems to run better in medium than in low.
15 FPS in the overworld with all settings at minimum or disabled. Drops to single digits if anything at all happens in the screen.
Pretty much every 2D UI texture was loaded incorrectly as if the game was loading from the wrong coordinates in the asset files.
Not worth trying without tinkering.
Doesn't run after today's Title Update 1
Also tried Proton Experimental and Hotfix. With Hotfix it launches to a black screen and then my desktop environment crashes.
Runs like before Title Update 1 after manually changing dstorage.dll/dstoragecore.dll to a previous version
Game crashed out of nowhere at some point.
Title Update 1 updated the DirectStorage libraries, and Proton doesn't like that. You need to download a previous version of dstorage.dll and dstoragecore.dll and overwrite the ones in steamapps/common/MonsterHunterWilds
Tried with NVIDIA 560 drivers and the game would freeze after a few minutes. It runs fine with NVIDIA 550 drivers
Minor stuttering and FPS drops during prerendered video.
Black screen after Unity logo. Does not respond.
Got invited to the alpha testing via Steam. Game launches, shows Unity logo, then goes to a black screen with "Development build" on the lower right corner.
Didn't launch with default proton, works fine on GE9.25
Game runs extremely slow except in main menu and cutscenes.
