Runs fine after installing d9vk (by dropping the d3d9.dll file next to the game executable (https://github.com/Joshua-Ashton/d9vk/releases)), renaming "Launcher.exe" to something else and "Borderlands2.exe" to "Launcher.exe" and setting as launch option "WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3d9=n" %command%". After that, I had no problem at all, performance is way better with D9VK than without.
Should your game freeze or crash more or less frequently, try setting Texture Quality to Medium (https://github.com/Joshua-Ashton/d9vk/issues/170).
You can start a game, but it lags quite hard, but is theoretically playable.
Just a few performance problems and a few, small graphical glitches, but otherwise it runs perfectly!
Just Force Feedback doesn't work for my Logitech racing wheel with up-to-date version of this game.
Runs better than native version with latest Proton update. Improvements over native version: no audio glitches anymore, controller rumble works and you can theoretically use RL mods with the Windows version. Runs perfectly fine in 4K!
multi-monitor set-up is not recommended, had problems with that, but with latest proton version in-game audio is working, framerate between 25-35 with same settings as on Windows, runs with constantly 60 fps there.
But playable
Well, as soon as it started, it seems to be fine, but before I could enter the main menu, it crashed two times; after that, it was fine, had some lags, but nothing terrible. Can't promise that there won't be more crashes, as it was already reported.
No problems so far, but Force Feedback doesn't work on my Logitech G27. Seems to be common problem.
