PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1
Shows an error but saves OK
This game is playable on this version of proton.
Works but freeze all the time.
The game shows an error while saving but besides that it save and load correctly.
The game frequent freeze, needing to kill the process.
The game currently is a pain in the ass because it freeze after some time, maybe 15min, appears to happen more often using game speed on 5x or 10x, but happened too on 2x.
I wouldn't recommend neither for a casual player. Only if your are not paying attention on game, doing other stuffs like, working, cleaning the house, or while DTR.
Need use OpenGL-based wined3d instead of Vulkan-based DXVK for d3d11 (PROTON_USE_WINED3D11)
Need use OpenGL-based wined3d instead of Vulkan-based DXVK for d3d11 for start game (PROTON_USE_WINED3D11)

Its playable, but it crashs every 10 or 15 minutes. You need to save the game manualy after you had load a game. Then it will run better.

How to start:
- Copy user_settings.py from user_settings.example.py (~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Proton 4.2).
- Uncomment line with "PROTON_USE_WINED3D": "1"
- Save file & start game

Used Proton 4.2-3 out of the Box with Nvidia 418.56 drivers (latest as of this review). Colors seems a bit off, but besides that it runs rather smooth. 60FPS with rare drops to about 42 FPS. With normal Game Speed it runs very smooth, stutters a bit when Game Speed is set to 2x or faster. The faster the Game Speed, the more stutter you get while still maintaining about 60 FPS. Grass (Particles?) gets all placed facing the same directions, so you will see some kind of a Grid when zoomed in.

Game works out if the box, but with few issues:
- autosave sometimes throw error;
- game sometimes lags, when autosave is working or effects like rain or snow is visible;
- if press exit in full screen, game freezes (works fine in windowed mode).

Using the D3d11 env var, runs and displays absolutely great but hangs up after 2 to 5 minutes of gameplay (3 tries)

Seems to run playable so far. Had minor stuttering while scrolling, but ingame seems good so far. Graphics as low as possible, because the mx130 in my laptop isn't pretty good for games in the first place. Never had to edit the configuration or other parameters with proton 3.16-4 beta. It has problems with proton 3.7-8 and i don't know what to edit, to get it running (Linux Noob here...).

had issues with my intel hd620 gpu, switched to nvidia graphics, works good with my mx150 gpu, requires d3d11

Game maintains itself at 60 fps, but camera movement is very laggy and game crashes after 2 minutes of gameplay

You can start a game, but it lags quite hard, but is theoretically playable.

game needs to be ran in dx11 mode, and having lots of graphic glitches, is playable if one can live with them (but i doubt it) the gameÅ› ui works though
