Works well with Proton-GE. Use AMDVLK on AMD Graphics cards for better stability and less graphical issues.
Played through the entire game and it only crashed during the end of the credits which can be skipped. A GTX 1060 was also tested and ran great.
Use custom Proton to fix poor performance. Future Proton versions that use newer Wine should fix this too.

Simply use the install script from Lutris. Steamplay doesn't work.
Works well with the fix others have noted already.
On my RX580 it worked flawlessly but on a GTX 1060 I had to disable DXVK otherwise it always froze while loading. WineD3D causes some graphical glitches that DXVK won't. Others haven't reported issues with NVIDIA soo..... I don't know.
Works very well with Proton, better than the native version that has been discontinued.
At first I was positively surprised to see that the game supported Linux and Vulkan natively but as it turns out the dev didn't optimize it for Linux at all. Proton works way better.
Runs perfectly out of the box
Performance seemed good, but I wondered whether the game (since it's Unity based) could be forced into OpenGL / Vulkan mode (%command% -force-glcore or -force-vulkan). Looks like it can't. DXVK works just fine though.
No problems at all
Max Settings at 1080p, running awesome. You can also launch the game with Wine without Steam.
Mouse sometimes locks when in fullscreen mode, but not in windowed mode.
