If your frame rate is dropping in the gunpla builder, it's likely just because of how many builders parts you put on. For some reason builders parts just really bog down the game? This occurs on Windows as well, and haven't tested myself, but apparently the Switch version too.
R.I.P Gundam Breaker Mobile. We still miss you : (

Like others, I had a small 1px white border around screen. easily fixed by pressing "alt + enter"
Vsync enabled on default X11 did cause some screen tearing (did not occur when using Wayland instead)
Playing on a 1440p monitor, with a secondary 1080p monitor on portrait mode.
On Windows 11, the game only managed to hold 120fps, dropping to under 60fps when a lot was going on.
On PopOS, the game ran beautifully up to 144fps, only dipping as low as 105fps when a lot started going on! I've never had a smoother experience with the game!
It ran even better when I switched PopOS into Wayland, however, I cannot use Wayland due to my Nvidia GPU having other bugs outside the game with it. I plan on switching to an AMD GPU eventually to test this again. And perhaps this could also be fixed once PopOS gets its big update estimated around the end of summer for their new cosmic desktop and way more native Wayland support.
Demo version added Anti-Cheat Expert (ACE), a Kernel Level Anti-Cheat.

using the launch option "SteamDeck=1" allowed the launcher to boot, but the game refused to start at all.

The game runs great, I didn't experience any weird bugs in the few hours I've been playing now.
There are some performance hits here and there, though I'm 99.9% sure that's just Unreal Engine 5 being Unreal Engine 5, and is totally unrelated from Linux or Proton.
prime-run
- Vsync caused screen tearing on default X11 (Did not occur on Wayland)
- The game does run natively, but without proton I got 55 - 78 fps. Required proton to get a full 144 fps (Proton 9.0-1 worked best for me)
- fps fluctuates a lot, as low as 87fps from max framerate of 144fps (seems to be an issue with X11, Wayland held a stable 144 perfectly)
- Pretty sure only issues I had were caused by server latency, just some rubber banding when going way too fast in a vehicle, I do not believe this was a game issue as this does not occur in singleplayer.
Overall the game is a pretty smooth experience.
While Wayland gave me far superior results, my Nvidia GPU sees other issues outside the game when using Wayland (problems that only effected the desktop environment and second monitor).
