Need to use the exact GE-Proton10-5 Version provided here. https://mega.nz/file/xbxFmbZS#0Q2K5f9udxXlW4pL8dktJFfkWTiG2X_ElZz7R9O1Vb8
gamemoderun %command%
unsure if it works without using the provided GE-Proton10-5 from the mega.nz link, learned from another comment, didn't want to deal with troubleshooting. This works. Was able to play online without triggering Anti-Cheat

STEAMDECK=1 %command%
I had to extend the windows manually, but that's a Hyprland problem
The custom Proton EM 10.0.23 didn’t work for me. I was still getting kicked out after a few seconds.
GE-Proton 10-5 worked perfectly. I used the same link another user posted before: https://mega.nz/file/xbxFmbZS#0Q2K5f9udxXlW4pL8dktJFfkWTiG2X_ElZz7R9O1Vb8
Scan with ClamAV came back clean, but do your own due diligence. Never install anything from a random URL without verifying it yourself.

STEAMDECK=1 %command%
you need GE10-5 it doesent work with any other version

ACE block

Anti-cheat hates my Arch system
SteamDeck=1 %command%
When launching the game, the game splashscreen loads and then I get a wine window stating:
- "Anti-cheat system works error. Please close related application that may affect anti-cheat modules, or check system abnormal events with anti-virus softwares. Reboot system and try tostart the game process administrator. (13-131079-63)"
I'm not buying a steam deck to play this game.
STEAMDECK=1 %command%
The STEAMDECK command may be unnecessary, but I maintained it just to be safe. I tried every GE version, but only 10-5 works. You'll need a zip or to obtain it from source, but it works, and I've been playing the game with no issues.
Link to the download I used: https://mega.nz/file/xbxFmbZS#0Q2K5f9udxXlW4pL8dktJFfkWTiG2X_ElZz7R9O1Vb8

Tried GE-Proton 10-9 and 10-8, Proton EM 10.0.25 and 10.0.24, several others. Anticheat pops every time.
Can't figure out how to get EM version 10.0.23, but that did work when I had it on my prior install.

The full-screen window sometimes switches to windowed mode after returning to the desktop.
The only drawback is that you'll need to download Proton EM 10.0.23 from github.

Proton_em doesn't resolve
You need GE-Proton10.5 or EM-10.0-23... but they are unlisted on github

Tried both GE and EM proton builds, Anti-Cheat trips.
Apparently there are specific delisted versions of GE and EM which might work (10-5 and 10.0.23 respectively), but I haven't bothered to attempt to obtain those builds.
Looks like another disgusting occurance of Anti-Cheat that trips unless you're playing specifically on Steam Deck.

Anti-cheat kicks in when opening the game itself, launcher working
Etaash-mathamsetty's fork seems to be the best from all accounts on here but don't have any success personally. A shame, seems like a fun time.

Game launcher and game starts, but Anti-Cheat blocks Linux and closes the game.
Tried with Proton 9.0.4; Proton EM 10.0.23 / 24 and GE Proton 10.09

Need using the game via native Steam app (With flatpak is broken)

Not working on Linux outside of SteamOS
Neither ProtonGE or ProtonEM works for me, even the 10.0.23 EM or 10-5 GE that both got removed since they were incorrect (see GE Discord for more info). The anti-cheat intentionally breaks because it's not a SteamOS Linux. Best is to wait for the company to just allow it. Other players that were able to grab 10.0.23 or 10-5 and have it working on their device runs almost flawlessly

Characters Hair seems to be missing during MVP scene.
Cursor sometimes "escape" from the main window.
Peformance seems more stable on windows. More perceptive during teamfights.
Frames seems to drop more frequently than windows.
Crashes more frequently than windows (every 2 or 3 hours. Specialy when alt-tabing)
Needs Proton GE 10-5 or EM 10.0-23 to get past launcher. GE 10-5 worked fine for the most part. EM 10.0-23 always gives me anti-cheat errors seconds after entering the main menu. Proton GE 10-5 is unlisted at the time of writing this.

Install proton-EM, restart steam, and select this proton version. I had issues finding it, so its on github under Etaash-mathamsetty/Proton/releases

Works perfectly. Unable to switch to 'DX12' mode, so frame generation isn't available, but the game is highly optimized as-is.

Controller disconnects very rarely but unplugging and replugging the controller instantly fixes the issue
Game runs perfectly on Mint using Proton EM. Do note a large portion of users are saying it does not run for them. Unsure what the difference is but the game runs effectivly flawlessly for me

gamemoderun %command%
Install flatpak app called ProtonPlus, install Proton-EM-10.0-23 version. Reboot Steam completely [close it from taskbar!] and after that select Proton-EM-10.0-23 as desired version. Works like a charm.
Anti cheat de mer......

Anti-Cheat block Linux Desktop
Some people said that using Proton-EM-10.0-23 will work, and it's Steam Deck Verified anyway, but nope I think it's patched or something like that, but it doesn't work. It will launch the launcher, but as soon as you click the Play button, it loads the game and tells you that the anti cheat just freaks out and kick you out of the game. Bad ACE (Anti-Cheat Expert)
I also tried using ProtonGE 10-8 (because Wuthering Waves, using ACE, is able to run on Linux now), and still get kicked out of the game by the anti cheat.

gamemoderun %command%
works with Proton-EM-10.0-23.
if you are getting the ACE anti-cheat pop up toggle having "gamemoderun %command%" from launch options.

Launcher loads, game does not initiate.
fails to launch due to ACE Kernel Level anti-cheat

Would launch but anti-cheat error would kick me off the game before i could get to the main menu

First i'm install this game with steam flatpak and Anti Cheat always issue, but i'm try to install with native steam and remove launch option, the game enjoy to play.

Does not work even with Proton EM
gamemoderun %command%

Unfortunatelly the game only runs in that specific Proton version for me. Other than that it runs really well.

Unplayable due to the anti cheat. But using proton-EM-10.0-23 the game was able to launch and play
Proton-GE 10.5 also works; unfortunately, it isn't available on GitHub anymore

gamemoderun %command%
Cannot change volume in OS
Loading into a match occasionally drops mouse input until you shift+tab
Use at your own peril, unsure how ACE will interact with the bypass.

Not playable
Able to open the launcher but game does not start.

On Steam Deck, it runs just fine out of the box. It runs on a special "Steam Deck Mode" wich doesn't lets the user to modify the graphical settings. Game performance are pretty good, 60 fps steady during the tutorial, arount 40 in normal gameplay (nb: default settings lock s fps at 45)

Anticheat blocks it on non SteamDeck enviroments
SteamDeck=1 %command%
The anticheat blocks it on everything wich isn't a Steam Deck. on Proton-EM 10.0-23 (https://github.com/Etaash-mathamsetty/Proton/releases/tag/EM-10.0-23) it's possible at least to start the game, but it crashes after a while, giving an error related to the anticheat. it's the only proton version wich gets at least to start the game, every other version i tried (including last Proton GE) gets blocked even before starting the game.
Setting SteamDeck=1 does nothing other than showing a slightly different version of the launcher
Can Install. Can run the launcher. But cannot run the game. The anticheat refuse to launch the game.

Hardware ban on linux desktop.
SteamDeck=1
Hardware ban on linux desktop despite working on Steam Deck. They could change one boolean value and the game would work fine. I think it's worth downloading it to make a bad review. They need to realize what a dumb idea this is. About 13% of the bad reviews are about linux.
Launcher opens, but text is extremely small and blurry. The actual game doesn't launch or work though. Just the launcher works.

Requires this proton version to work. Otherwise anticheat goes brrr

Avoid any in-game purchases as this behavior may be uninteded so the possiblity of a ban is always there.

Anti-cheat blocks linux
STEAMDECK=1 %command%
The game launches, but after a few seconds of compiling shaders, an anti-cheat message pops up and kicks me out of the game.
