plays as if it is native. 4.11
as others have mentioned it shows up in a 'wide' view not proper fullscreen. does not affect gameplay
Playing the game without cutscenes is no fun. And with the native version unplayable this seems like a game I won't be able to play
Native the game crashes at the start of the first REAL battle. I moved to steamplay 5.13 and then I miss out on all the cut scenes. As others reported. I attempted to launch with d9vk with no luck, still runs but no cutscenes.
I had to set launch options to PROTON_USE_D9VK Prior 1080p was micro stuttering fairly bad. Afterwards I was able to increase to 1440p smooth gameplay
In a BPM environment fullscreen did not scale properly. Disabling full screen fixes this
Disabling fullscreen caused the game to freeze. On proton 4.2-9 this does not happen
Starts on proton 4.11 gets to black screen then
Acts like it will open but never does. As others mentioned it's missing supportive files
Steam would claim it was installed but missing exe. Changing from steam runtime over to proton 4.11 allowed installation of the game.
But at launch I was met with a black screen. Swapping back to steam runtime deleted the game. Re-downloading to try again
I had a weird situation where I had to run it under proton 4.2 the first time. Then moved to 4.11. everything was nearly perfect after that.
In 7 hours it froze once.
It froze once
Not until the sound comes in right away. once that is fixed then yes.
Had to add PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% to the launch command. fixed immediately
Game would not launch with 4.11-8 no matter what I tried.
Use d9vk to get it running smooth
Runs right out of the box, playing with graphical settings shows off some quirks but otherwise it's great
Turning on triple buffering caused a white screen. I had to force close.
Runs great. For me 1080p, high and vsync enabled for a smooth experience. I feel like I should get 1440p with my hardware.
Disabling vsync caused stuttering having it enabled it played smooth.
4.11-8 the game would freeze as soon as it opened. 4.2-9 works right away
