There aren't too many things that make the experience worse than usual. Custscenes don't play though
Fully customized controlls to my liking. There aren't many in the game, so it worked out great
Sometimes launching the game doesn't switch to the main window. Pressing "Escape" helps
The game doesn't support Steam Deck resolution by default and doesn't run when plugged to an external display
Occasional stutter at the start of a mission
TF2 plays great on Steam Deck, although you will have to put down some time to set up controlls to your liking and get used to them
Used a config from cfg.tf
Fully customized the layout to my liking. With Gyro, Flick Stick and everything. Worked out fantastically!!!
Default settings sacrifice a lot of FPS in busy moments

Takes a while to set up the controls and get used to them, but after that, plays great on Steam Deck
Saves in this game are absolutely massive, 500MB or so. Saving and loading takes a WHILE
The game is almost unplayable on any settings other than the lowest
Really not enjoyable on a Steam Deck. Needs a lot of CPU and also, patience.
