Need to rename BorderlandsGOTY.exe to Launcher.exe, game crashes sometimes. After exiting it won't start unless system reboot.
Followed the Tick posted by the other user it works. Playtime:< 1 hour After install, delete the contents of the "Coloring Game" folder. Then, open a terminal window and run the following to open the Console: ======================================================================================== steam steam://nav/console ======================================================================================== In the Steam console enter to download the 32bit client: ======================================================================================== download_depot 1026820 1026821 ======================================================================================== Move the contents from the download location to the "Coloring Game" folder. Game updates will require downloading the 32bit client again. it will show the location where it downloaded the file. Depot download complete : "/home/[name]/.local/share/Steam/ubuntu12_32\steamapps\content\app_1026820\depot_1026821" (317 files, manifest 3141282991718447382)
In the Steam console, download the 32bit client: download_depot 1132190 1132191 move downloaded to install folder then in Steam console: download_depot 1132190 1132192 and again move files to install folder
Installed xact with winetricks and disabled esync. Now the game runs without issues for me, no stuttering or crashes, but I only played for about an hour.
At first the audio was stutering. I installed xact with winetricks and the it works perfectly, stable 60 fps on medium settings. I was able to complete the game without any issues :)
Every time after quiting my machine froze. Disabling Esync solved the problem.
I played only single player, works perfectly - no issues. I did not play multi.
Crashes after black screen. After installing windowscodecs via winetricks/protontricks, works perfectly.
Won't start with Proton 4.2-5, but with Proton 3.16-9 Beta runs perfectly out of the box.
