Maybe need to rename files to start the game (but this problem is also present in Windows 10/11). Try renaming the files: Element TD.exe to ETD.exe and Element TD_Data to ETD_Data. Worked for me. Game doesn't have an exit button (smartphone game). Need to exit with Alt+F4 or something like that.
