The game runs totally fine and has the same LOD glitches it has on Windows (most notable in the swamp area) so its not Proton's fault

The game runs well but the physics are locked to the framerate, so be sure to run it at 60 FPS to avoid any slowdown

The Depth of Field kept turning on on every loading screen.
You need to wait in the menu a bit (5 to 8 minutes for me) at the beginning for the GPL to do its job. Once it's done you can enjoy the game stutter free.

The stuttering is really heavy and if you benchmark 5 different proton versions, DENUVO anti-tamper protection will block you for 24 hours.

Whenever switching from keyboard and mouse to gamepad, the game would stutter for half a second
Stuttering whenever dxvk compiles new shaders (the ones downloaded from steam shadercache don't seem to be working with my setup) and DXVK_ASYNC doesn't seem to work properly even tho this is a dx11 game

The audio cracks and stops very rarily for about 5 seconds. Happened 2 times over 30 hours
Enabling either FSR1, FSR2, Intel XESS and TAA on low, causes ghosting effects (Especially Intel XESS). Use TAA on High for no ghosting, or FSR2 for minimal ghosting
Some micro stuttering in crowded areas, but playable nonetheless

If you alt-tab while the game is set to exclusive fullscreen, the window will become black until you restart the game. Solution is by playing in windowed or forcing borderless through other means. I forced borderless by right clicking on the game icon in my panel and selecting "Other">"Fullscreen" using Archlinux KDE Plasma while the game was set towindowed in the video options
