Proton just as smooth as windows
I'm able to play max settings at 1440p no problem. The game is smooth and I have yet to experience any crashes.
Other than the few issues when minimizing (I would have to repeat this to confirm this was indeed the problem) the game ran perfectly.
Game did not like to be minimized or put on another workspace. Black screen.
Online ran perfectly, Hell Let Loose seems to now support Proton.
Good performance, no crashes, bugs or glitches to report
Playing at 1440p max settings. 30fps, but I wouldn't expect more on windows with my rig.
I am mixed. If I could play it longer than fifteen minutes it would be a positive experience.
After about 15 or so minutes game crashes and locks up the entire computer. Its the only game of many that are installed that seem to do this.
Multiplayer doesn't work without $ protontricks -q --force dotnet40 win7
Worked perfectly out of box. The only issue I have had is getting mods to work, but it could be user error on my part.
Other than occasional graphical artifacts and minor performance hiccups I've enjoyed clocking 40 hours so far on Linux.
Sometimes it seems like particles and physics need to catch up. Sometimes I have a greyish line artifacting from the characters center to the edge of the screen. IT seems less common in 4.11-13 but still occurs.
Fullscreen alt-tab will lock the game up.
Slighty more stuttering than windows. Otherwise playable
