There are brief interruptions from time to time.
The game is not particularly pretty for ultra wide monitors. Corners are squashed.

Stay away from FSR Frame Gen, completely black screens the game.
If you do activate it, do the following: -> go to /home/$USER/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/DOOMTheDarkAges/amd-ffx/
-> rename the file to anything else, but do remember the original name -> relaunch the game and turn off Frame gen -> return to the file location and restore the name.
Sometimes it worked very well, sometimes not at all. I never found out what the real reason was.
It is also impressive that it looks very good for ultra wide monitors, no extreme squashing, better than Cyberpunk 2077.

It cannot be started and simply closes.
The EA installer setup starts every time. However, it cannot be installed --> network path error. When I close it, the game tries to start, but then it crashes.
Saves between cloud and local were different several times, once a 3-month-old save was loaded from the cloud and overwritten locally.
Even at 5120x1440 the game still looks quite good.
