Can't Get Past UPlay, Game Never Starts
UPlay looks great and actually is pretty smooth, it never gets past that point though. My wine system tray opens, I can open UPlay from the system tray, and I disabled in-game overlay. After pressing play from UPlay though, it never actually starts.

Update: I have achieved a momentary black screen that crashes right after it starts from UPlay using GE 5.8-GE-2-MF.
Used 5.0-9, none of the other one's worked. Literally unplayable because of the frame rate.
Screen tearing
Mouse input would get messed up often
4 FPS on the lowest graphics settings, like my computer is weak but it should be able to run 40-60 on the lowest settings.
None of the other Proton or GE versions worked for me, only 5.0-9 worked and it was impossible to play.
Wouldn't play, crashed every time
I tried GE 21 and 9, tried regular proton 5.0-10, 5.13-4, nothing worked. Other people gave a few launcher commands to try, none of them helped. Just borked as hell
Works Well, Crashes Every Hour
Crashed every hour, same problem as HellCattZ.
I couldn't get it to work with 5.13-6 but I got it to work with 5.0-10 It crashes every hour and I haven't tried any other versions of Proton to see if it works better. My crash symptoms are the exact same as HellCattZ, where I can move around the map but I can't interact with the HUD or keyboard.
Origin Works, The Game Starts as a Small Black Box Though
Origin was able to start and set-up, the Wine system tray was in the top left corner working fine, and I could double click on the Origin icon to open Origin. The Sims would start as a small black box up at the top left corner of the screen, and would not change. I tried a bunch of Proton versions, including multiple GE versions. I also did try turning off in-game overlay, and I also tried PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1, nothing worked. Eventually my computer would make me force quit The Sims because the little black box would stop responding, let me know if anyone finds a solution.
Can't Get Past Origin Loading
I think it's a drivers thing, though I can't figure it out. It passes Origin but then crashes because it doesn't work with my graphics card when I know that it should. I'm not sure how to fix it. Whether it's on my end, or EA's problem.
