Quite a bit of stutter out of the box
I had quite a lot of stuttering until I copied x64 version of DXVK 2.1 (d3d9.dll) into the games folder (Binaries/Win64). This completely elimited all stuttering for me and the game now runs silky smooth.
Runs as well as on Windows. No issues like described in the other reports. Perfect
No idea how it runs on Windows but it's smooth as butter on Linux for me. Runs amazing.
Game runs great. Only issue is some screen tearing that V-Sync doesn't fix and Full Screen mode results in the Ubuntu menu bar being visible so had to leave it on default of Borderless but then G-Sync doesn't work. Perfectly playable.

Mouse sensitivity was set really low
Slight stutter during the first 5 mins of play but settles.
Had to switch to an older version of Proton. Latest just crashes.
As previous person stated it does not work with the latest Proton 4.2.3 - The menu ends up garbled after the intro videos. Works perfectly with 3.16.4 however I have to manually kill Vampire.exe after quitting each time.
Launches with no tweaks. Sound and controls work perfectly. No graphical issues that I could spot.
