Textures would not load using Mesa drivers, had to install AMDVLK to get the textures to load. Got the weird glowing eyes without the launch option.
Steam info still says I'm running the Mesa driver, but vulkaninfo clearly shows AMDVLK 2024.Q4.2.
gamemoderun %command%
Runs just fine out of the box.
gamemoderun %command% and GE Proton are my standards for running most games, so I consider them out of the box.
gamemoderun %command% -nolauncher
I don't think they were Linux-specific bugs. I ran into a puzzle glitch with VSync disabled where a box slid through a wall, and I ran into a QTE lock up when I had the refresh rate set higher than 60Hz. Enabling Vsync and setting the refresh to 60Hz fixed them.
Most of the issues I had were due to an older game and new hardware. Ultrawide support is native, but it the pre-rendered cut scenes are zoomed, so you lose horizontal visibility and they look a little silly.
There's a very slight delay somewhere - talking microseconds. I can't quite tell if it's in the movement, video, or networking yet. If I hadn't already put in a couple hundred hours in the the game on Windows I probably wouldn't notice it, but it feels like playing while tipsy now. Doesn't happen in the hub, just in matches.
Enabling RT caused crashes when loading into matches.

No problems so far. I pre-emptively disabled the overlay based on other reports here. I haven't tested with it without.
