Start menu was a bit small, used touch screen to change tabs as it is easier to do so
don't use native, change to proton to avoid lighting issues and better performance
Didn't encounter any issue on my side; I haven't tested the multiplayer though.
Frames are dropping a bit in the cult map when it gets crowded, but runs super smoothly otherwise.
Runs perfectly out of the box, I had similar performances than my previous Windows install!
FMVs had audio issues. Using the mod at https://www.nexusmods.com/devilmaycryhdcollection/mods/51 fixed the audio but mirrored the image. Switching Proton version to the regular 8.0-5 fixed that part.
Texts are hard to read, sometimes very hard. Changing the in game scaling/resize option doesn't change anything. My only complaint.
Did like everyone, the game works, but the "bComputeShaderDeferredTiledLighting=0" fix... well, didn't fix anything for me
I was able to open a save, but right when I went into Frostland Exploration view, it instantly crashed.
A launch screen with options was present, but I was unable to navigate through it via any other inputs than the touch screen.
Config window at the start aside (which required using the touch screen to configure and launch the game), didn't run into any issues.
Same as everyone: Intro and Main menu works well, but it closes when it finishes loading the map. I've tried to switch options on and off in the config, but nothing fixes it.
So, the latest Proton beta seems to fix it. The game worked flawlessly on my end. I only encountered one minor glitch with the italic fonts in the subs (the survivors subs are not in italic, though, only when someone talks through a radio or something), but apart from that, no problem!
I tried playing it via Steam Play. Seems to work perfectly. I don't see any difference with native linux version, though, so I'd still recommend this version instead.
Works perfectly with no issues. A shame a game this old doesn't support modern screen resolutions, but, you know, that's not Proton's fault at all of course!
If you have an Nvidia gpu, you have to disable the fog. But I remember having the issue on Windows too, so... I guess it means the game works exactly like on Windows? :D
Works great, I'm genuinely surprised it works so great, in fact, considering it's still in early access.
Works great, even more since it's in early access. Some finished games don't run so smoothly.
The game runs smoothly, but has some frame drops sometimes. Could be HDD related though, I wasn't on an SSD.
Disable the "Shadowplay" in the graphic menu. There's an issue with the sound, the spacialization doesn't seem to work: if you build a barrier between two turrets, you'll hear their "buzzing" sound REALLY loud anywhere on the map
