Game works perfectly well. Exact same as it did on Windows 10.
Had some slight stuttering that seems to be an issue with incomplete shader cache's. Should be fixed soon or the more you play the more the cache will fill but currently this community provided cache works amazingly (https://www.reddit.com/r/linux_gaming/comments/t5xrho/dxvk_state_cache_for_fixing_stutter_in_apex/)
The game is very enjoyable without using the community provided shader cache just you may experience some stuttering at times due to yours being incomplete. Game works wonderfully with a good shader cache even better than windows for me.
It does say I used Proton Experimental but I have not tried any other version just what I had on like I usually do. Please look at other reports for finding a good proton version.
Note: I only used just regular game multiplayer like seeing some other people play and seeing messages.
This game works perfectly once you've met requirments to have it working at least in my experience.

Personally myself on Gentoo EAC didn't work at first but the flatpak version of steam it did. Though I believe I just probably didn't have all the packages needed for EAC. So if it doesn't work try the steam flatpak.
No Trouble Whatsoever
EAC loaded excellently, game launched, online worked, and played the same as playing on a Windows 10.
I have tried every version of python currently available all the way back to 4.11 and I can not get this game to work.
Works flawless out of the box
I gave a report that I said I tried different versions of python cause that's what I found reccomended. But I realized it was my own missing packages for graphics drivers. I forgot to make a new report but I remembered today so here it is.
Hit play and all worked perfectly.
No other notes lol just worked.
Perfect out of the box! Jusssst remember too swap too proton instead of the Linux version which is deprecated.
Worked flawlessly out of the box. Enabled proton, plugged in controller, and started playing.
Works perfectly! But you may or may not have a little trouble.
It seems the majority of people have this game working out of the box. But, seeming it didn't work quite perfectly for me the first time somebody could have a little trouble with it.
