Had to symlink as described by others. Had to enable virtual desktop in the order for mouse to not become locked to the window. Needed to edit the .ini setting file to change resolution to the size of the virtual desktop. High Preset settings got me 20-30fps. Lowest only got me maybe an extra 5 fps. Pretty terrible. This level of FPS with a 980ti and lowest settings makes it "Crucially Unplayable" in my book.
Rename the exe to Launcher.exe . If you experience crashes on map change/DXVKMemoryAllocation errors lower your texture quality settings. The less VRAM used the less like it is to happen, in my experience. Same goes for BL2 and BLTPS
Viewmodel sometimes stuttered when moving mouse, dissapeared after toggling v-sync on/off. Maybe system issue. Otherwise perfect
Launches with U-Play overlay disabled. Vehicle Steering works after copying dlls from a Windows 7 installation. https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Proton/issues/2356#issuecomment-480456487 Everything else works perfectly, ~60fps high
Followed https://pastebin.com/raw/2Y2bVuRi The game crashes in the benchmark every time and I only get 20-40 fps average in the main game. Using NVIDIA Beta Driver 415.13
Follow https://pastebin.com/raw/2Y2bVuRi except for the nvapi dlls if using d9vk. Using d9vk built from master (https://github.com/Joshua-Ashton/d9vk) gives me 60fps on very high settings. Very playable. I suggest installing Reshade if you want FXAA/SMAA, which also works perfectly.
Didn't try multiplayer. Runs perfectly 60fps stable on medium. High preset up I could not get any fps above 40 no matter what settings I used. Believe I am cpu bottlenecked or Proton/DXVK are bottlenecking the game. GPU Usage ~60%
DO NOT: disable esync (with limit > 500k). Gives me about a 10-15% fps improvement. I have played GTA:Online for around ~50hours with only two crashes, one of which was due to a bad GPU clock. Very stable all around. WINEDLLOVERRIDES=winedbg.exe=d %command% for online.
Everything works, different settings & resolutions etc.
Using the default branch I get 60fps on high with no tweaks (most of the time). The experimental (vulkan) branch crashes on launch, but as it says, this is experiemental.
Doesn't boot with f-sync. Doesn't load into any worlds with the Vulkan version (which is default with Beyond.) Completely unplayable now that Open-GL is gone.
As below, game runs but there is no window border or other elements. Game doesn't fullscreen unless you minimise then click it from task bar.
Rename SKSE exe to SkyrimLauncher.exe when you want to play with mods. Restore original SkyrimLauncher.exe when you need to enable/disable mods. Run from Steam.
Runs perfectly. Scrolling is a little slow, but I'm not sure if that's just the game or not.
Game works perfectly out of the box. However, if you want mods you need to rename the SKSE exe to SkyrimLauncher.exe to load them, do not launch the SKSE entry in Steam library. In order to configure (enable/disable) mods you need to restore the original SkyrimLauncher.exe https://steamcommunity.com/app/365720/discussions/0/2590022385670889744/#c3393916911748070518
"WINEDLLOVERRIDES="xaudio2_7=n,b" %command%" in launch options. SKSE and mods do not work, even after renaming. Gold if mods were to work.
