Perfect out of the box
Just works
Flawless OOTB

Entering fullscreen mode causes the game to become unresponsive requiring a forced logout to fix.
Version from EGS run via the heroic launcher (meaning this report is for the windows version and not the native linux version), runs but can't be set into fullscreen mode as it causes the game to become unresponsive and can't be closed by normal means requiring a logout of the current session (Further testing will be done to see if this is just an Ubuntu issue)

Perfect experience
Zero issues. On Wayland for reference.

IMPORTANT: Change to use Proton (I used 9.0) rather than the default 'steam native' version. The native version control pad support is broken. Everything is perfect if you switch to proton.

worked perfectly out of the box, perfect for linux gaming

Ótimo jogo. Ótima peformance.

(Out from box) Всё идеально, без проблем.
works fine on native

I made the right joystick a copy of the left joystick, just for more options. The official gamepad layout works fine. According to my muscle memory, it's the same as the Switch version.
No problems with native Linux version. When using Proton, the fullscreen option stretches the interface to fit, and makes everything slightly blurry. The in-game "stretch scaling" option is greyed out, so I can't change it. If this ever bothers me enough to try and fix, I'll report on it.
Rumble does not work in the native Linux version. It does work in Proton.
Thanks to the other contributors who let me know that rumble works in Proton! I've played hundreds of hours of ITB on my Switch with rumble enabled, and the game was missing something without it.

Worked Perfectly with no tinkering
10/10 Native runs perfectly
5W works great

Proton recommended if you care about haptics. Plays well, other than the periodic freezing.
Rumble feedback doesn't work on native.
There are periodic 1-5 second freezes that happen ranomly while playing, about once every 5 minutes of play. Occurs on both native build and with Proton.
The game works perfectly and a controller actually is surprisingly good for the game. I get very good battery life out of the deck when playing it, too
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
black screen on startup in desktop mode. Works fine in steam mode.

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
set proton prefix to he same one I've used for many other games
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Works out of the box, with full controller support.
The game defaults to its native Linux version. Forcing the use of Proton (tested 7.0-2 and GE 7-15) yields a black screen on launch (with sounds).
The game ran great with no additional work required!

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
The game Worksheet fine with WINE 7.9 in Heroic. But you get black screen with proton. Sounds and menu are active, but the screen is black.
It just worked. This was installed by windows and booted just fine in Pop!_OS with no tweaking at all.
Great game!
Works perfectly out of the box with Linux Runtime
Black screen with DXVK (default), runs perfectly with WineD3D

It fix the blackscreen problem.

New Update (Today 4/20) Broke Proton But Native Running
Was playing it the day before the update with Proton 5.0.6 and was working fine, but today proton no longer loaded, only a black screen appeared. However, there is now a Native version that works
