Works great with Proton. Recent DLC was treated as uninstalled on Native Version.
The most recent DLC would not load on the native linux version.
Set the game to borderless fullscreen, otherwise alt-tabbing won't work.
Had some minor connection issues, but they were likely the result of the online service being down.

Some crackling audio when first starting the game.
Runs considerably better (even with mods) than I expected. Mostly playing on Medium to Low settings. The audio crackles a little in the intro videos. It is fine once in the menus or in the game.
The nvidia graphics card driver 510 gives a failed to allocate video memory. It works with driver version 470.xx
I have no idea what changed from my last report until now. After I did nothing and changed nothing, the game just decided to work one day. It used to lag out in menus and run at about 5 fps. Now it runs perfectly.
Past the main menu, the game would fine for about 10 seconds, then it would drop to single digit framerate. Navigating menus is sluggish.
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%
Game would switch displays randomly when loading cutscenes or menus.
Mouse would jitter around on second monitor and would leave focus for the game.
Would lock up computer when alt-tabbed on dual monitor set up.
The game would completely lock up PC after alt-tabbing except for the mouse. Could not use terminal or sysrq to escape or kill the task.
Game works identically on linux as it does on Windows.
Alt-Tab works as well as on Windows.
Played 30 hours on a heavily modded setup with Mod Organzier 2 and an enb. Grab the rockerbacon install script for mod organizer and follow its instructions to mod. If not, the vanilla game plays great.

Videos played choppy, but regular gameplay was fine.
Run the game with proton version 5.13 otherwise the debug log won't go away. The native version won't got fullscreen.
No music plays, but the other sounds are fine.

After pausing gpu vram usage drops and framerate drops to single digit.
I found that to fix the pause stuttering bug, change graphics settings under video, unpause, then pause again and change the setting back. The performance issues go away until the next time the game is paused. It seems most setting that change vram usage work, but I didn't test all of them, just the top graphical setting.
If the EA app doesn't work, then add the launch option to point the game to SwGame-Win64-Shipping.exe. Or just add that exe as a non steam game and set up the proton version as you normally would.
Alt-Tab crashes the game.
Could not connect until I verified files on steam.
The alt-tab bug is also present on Windows 10. If you are playing the vanilla Titan Quest and not the anniversary edition, you can alt-tab without it crashing.

Frequent Stuttering
In order for the gamemode command to work, you have to have the Feral gamemode installed or use a version of protonGE that includes it.
