They added EAC anti-cheat which does not recognize Linux.
The game loads to the menu, but now when you press play it says anti-cheat is not initialized and will not start queing you for a game. I worked almost perfectly before the update, but sadly the game is no longer playable.
At least with my setup, the in game visuals are completely borked.
I am having severe flickering/flashing streached textures or something similar. I tried switching proton versions, fullscreen/windowed mode, and updating drivers. Nothing seemed to have any effect with the problem I am experiencing in my machine.
The textures or something are flickering and flashing all in my face after loading the game on any graphics settings, making it unplayable
Without GameMode my fps would fluctuate between 20 and 40 no matter what graphics settings I used. Also, I suggest using a controller to play. This game's controls are horribly optimized for mouse and keyboard even if you rebind keys.
Aside from the control bug that happens sometimes, it runs fine and is playable.
Sometimes when clicking to command minons it acted as if you were holding it down until you clicked a few times yourself to "un-stick" it.
