videos broken with experimental

Crashed instantly
Couldn't find any log files so couldn't debug why. Tried poking around a bit to see if I could get anything working but nope.

Some stuttering when chainging areas
I had no touchpad mouse control in the main menu but I was able to select menu items with the touch screen you might be able to fix this with controller options but I wasn't in the menu long enough to bother
For some reason my config in ~/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/284240 was moved into a "corrupted_pfx.bak" folder I was able to navigate to the Maize config folder and copy it back over and resume my save.
Ending video did not play so had to look it up on youtube

Three-second freezes every couple of minutes. Slightly annoying, but no deal breaker.
The final video isn't playing, so you'll have to resort to YouTube to see the conclusion.
With Proton 6.3 and 7.0 the game crashes right after the menu.
At least with my setup, the in game visuals are completely borked.
I am having severe flickering/flashing streached textures or something similar. I tried switching proton versions, fullscreen/windowed mode, and updating drivers. Nothing seemed to have any effect with the problem I am experiencing in my machine.
The textures or something are flickering and flashing all in my face after loading the game on any graphics settings, making it unplayable
Large occasional lag spikes, minutes apart
Outside o0f the stutters the experience was enjoyable.
Frequent stutters that last a few seconds at as time. The beginning of the game is also much lower than later in the game even in the same areas.
Fantastic humor and story. Used Proton 5.0-3

Crashes at Launch (Using Proton 5.0-2)
Had worked before on Mesa 19.0.6; Manjaro 18.0.4; Kernel 5.1.8-1-MANJARO; Proton 4.2-9 combo.

The game starts and plays very well except the end movie. The movie should begin after a certain triggering event but it doesn't and instead you are subjected to a blank screen although you can hear movement of the character if pressing the forward control. But the game should be over apart from the running of an ending movie.
In the Windows troubleshoot guide on Steam the creators mention this error (last error listed in Steam discussion "FAQ: Known Issues") and say the remedy is to install Media Feature Pack for your version of Windows.

But I don't know how that translates to a Wine/Proton environment. So disappointingly I had to switch the Windows, but only for the viewing of the ending movie.

It runs well, just not too many frames

Tested ~2 hours of gameplay. Had mouse, stutter and sound crackling issues, setting PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 fixed it. Perfomance is as bad as on Windows. Sometimes short freezes (but if I remember correctly these also occured on Windows). Menu controls feel unresponsive, changing settings feels glitched sometimes, but all this is also the case on Windows. So "Gold" because after the tweak it runs the "same" as on Windows for me.

Loading makes game hang for a few seconds, otherwise perfect
