Works great, cute game
Could not load a save made on windows synced over to linux, may also be version issue as that save was old
Great to have a multiplayer not auto banned!
Works great (or as great as one can expect from Hunt)
In game video and cutscenes seem broken, however there is a setting to turn them off, so it would appear the devs are aware this happens
Game sometimes just show a black screen, closing and reopening fixes the problem
It is required to have wine 10.8 or newer due to anti cheat, which steam by default doesn't currently at the time of writing this provide, even hotfix and experimental only goes to 9.x
Go to wine-tkg's github, log in to github, download the most recent proton-tkg for your distro off of github, ensure you are downloading proton-tkg and not wine-tkg, unzip the zip, fold out the tar, close steam completely and drag the folder into your ~/.steam/root/compatabillity.d/ folder and start steam again. There are multiple ways to install proton-tkg, this was the only one that worked for me.
I had one crash, installation of unnofficial patch had a couple more steps, but generally I would say not harder than normal
-windowed -width 1920 -height 1080 -game Unofficial_Patch
used protontricks to install unnofficial patch
- run protontricks in gui mode
- select vtmb
- select the default wineprefix
- Run explorer
- Navigated the files to the Z: drive all the way up to my downloads folder (where I had the .exe for vtmb stored)
- double click the installer to run it
- followed the installation as normal
I use a home compiled tiling window manager, which caused some issues with full screen, should not apply to most other people
Runs about as well as it does on windows with patch
The game no longer allows Linux to connect to online play, showing error avf
After update 3.1 the avf error was fixed for Linux users, runs near perfect now
Could not move cursor outside of game when in game in windowed mode
Runs perfect, but acted a bit first time i tried to boot it up
At first wouldn't play, but after a couple of days, it booted just fine. No tweaks or anything else
