The game pretty much works without issues if played on X11 and on a proton version based on wine staging 10.5 or newer

On wayland, when trying to play a video, there's a significant FPS drop. It's a playback issue, as mangohud reports stable 60 fps. This FPS drop doesn't seem to happen on X11.
The game used to not even boot, and needed a custom patch for that. Even then, video playback was stright up not working (Video wouldn't play, only audio).
With a proton version based on wine staging 10.5 or newer the game boots with the original executable, without the need of any patch. However, video playback on Wayland is choppy, while seems to work as intended under X11.
Proton-GE seems to update wine to bleeding edge in new releases, so I am optimistic that the next proton-GE version will be able to bring these improvements and hopefully even fix the playback issue on wayland.
I don't think this is playable since whenever I try to obtain new items, the game got stuck on loading screen.

Drivers updated, options fiddled with, nothing's worked. Seems an update a few weeks back broke it, and I'm not knowledgable enough to fix it. Does not load at all, no screen flashing up.

For now it has no support for Steam Deck gamepad. Can only be played using touch/dpad or mouse

Works out of box, but don't turn on the Low-Definition mode as it will cause the reward claim screen to infinately load

Working well
Before, some commands + a patch on the exe was needed. Now, it's working without any modification after a fresh install, even the cutscenes work
Game works flawlessly on first launch. Maybe it is because I've used CachyOS's Proton version and CachyOS in general. I haven't done any modification and only followed the bare minimum instructions for setting up Steam and CachyOS for gaming.
In my conclusion, you need to play the game first on a mobile then link it with steam. (For new players)

I am a new player, and was just waiting for the game to be playable on linux since launch. So when I tried it, I am stuck in the beginning of the game where I can hear the sounds of rain and that's it. I tried to follow the things mentioned here and from other forums, using the patched exe; tried every option of proton. But the supposed transition of a dialogue after the rain is not showing only blank screen.
Since I see some posts here that they can run the game, I assume they don't need to play the intro playthrough. Will try to install it on my mobile first if I can.
Attempted with default, Experimental, and GE -- none launched the game.
Only needed to change to Proton-GE, nothing else was required. Game works, have not noticed any issues
Of course, the game runs fine as intended if you enjoy gacha games or rpg games that are rich in storytelling this is a must play.
L2D cutscenes whenever you log in are somewhat glitched that looked like tv screen error, sounds plays fine. Even when you use Regulus L2D skin her Ultimate Incantation shows a tv error.

Borked on linux desktop and steam deck alike.
The game cannot be launched, no matter the proton used.
During the initial login with an existing account the manually invoked keyboard was behaving oddly where none of my buttons worked so i had to use the keyboard through the touchscreen.
