sence you need proton 3.16.9 you can run the game in fullscreen you only get a black screen with sound
sence the game needs proton 3.16.9 you cant play in fullscreen mode. but you can get away wiht if you use a tailing window manager and force the windos to fullscreen this works well no problems. but you cant play in any higher ress then the lowest 720p if you try to go higher it will end up in black screen, keep in mind to not let the intress play or else it will crash even with media fundation. if you intend to play only local you can put it to proton 5.13.6 (be adviced not to play ONLINE senmce it can crash) dont know how local is sence i never get a change to test it...
as i have not had any big problems. i still feel abit yes a normal player would like it its not a true true out of the box
the song after the first battle did not play in 60FPS other then that not seen anything so far. people say it does have syncing problems and so on but i play in 30fps maybe its better for me not sure yet.
the local save work fine. but the steam shared cloud dont exist. and that means you need to relay on uplay and that dont work uplay cant even sync the saves on windows. so not really a game more of a uplay problem
when i run the game at 60FPS the ingame cutsences where abit stuttery and choppy in the start but get better later on. it runs well on ultra at 30FPS and for me comeing form the console i dont see any diffrence.
the game did freeze on my once after i play for like 2+ hours straight but it only happend one time so far need to play alot longer period of times to see if it happens more just need to save more and happy for auto save sence i did not lose any progress
i did add: PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 %command% should help with Dsyncing. and i was forced to start it on windows sence steam on linux dont get leastest version of uplay and could not activate the game.

it dont have cloud save so you need to move it overt form windows of start over. the leaderboard on steam is saved

the lava looks abit difrent and the game seems abit darker. but it dont compremise the gameplay
yes it works nice now no story mode but you dont miss alot. and now the character selection is in 60fps instead of 30fps:)

its a LINUX problem i use a brrok PS3/PS4 mixbox (arcade stick) and it dont reads all the inputs as it should like if im holding down back (1) and then go into back (4) it dont read it so i just stand there. same for jumping and so on like up forward (7). i had this problem on other Linux distrobutions
could not play story mode
this game replay ALOT on its online play and the lobbies dont work at this time.
im waiting for the GGPO to get added to game and that will bypass streams lobbies and then it should be playable.
it works awersome now and online too sence before the GGPO it did nto wokr online now it does.
just add this as launch option to be safe: PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 %command%
yes it runs well no problem aslong as you learn what stages to stay away from you are good.
its stage specific but in same stages where a character jump or do attack the hole screen gliches out and then go back to normal it can be seen during local CPU play, but really shows in online play. its not super bad its more annoying than anything and it distract you from the game.

miss factionality cant connect to ultratexh singple player redusced. good for local play offline.

i just installed it and run good. had some small spell effects not showing as it should but overall frame rate and so on works good.
after update 2.25 the game is broken for now. cant be opened if you try to many times you get banned for 24Hours
it worked fine before like everyone else said. i did read on reddit that it could be problems but this was 2 years ago. and i jsut thought oo i played it for over a year maybe im late to this cleaning. but now i see no. the game broked itself. i hope it can be fixed due to it makeing me scared of running my games on linux. i dont want to get banned i want to use linux i like it alot, so yea worked fine before 2.25, DONT BUY TO PLAY ON LINUX!!! Now i just wait for them to brick Tekken 7 thats whitelisted buy valve too.
run on ULTRA motion bluir off and Vsync on. run well jsut stutter a few times and lagged abit in loading screens. complity playable not problems. i onyl turn on Vsync for i felt it run better that way i had over 100FPS anyway

i think its capcom's own thing. but i guess its fixed for now it started before it did not.
it started getten error cant render out source pin. and then closes itself with a japanese error after that i can read for i get no japanese unicode installed
yes you can install it useing these thing fixes then yes. it runs as it should for me. the opening video worked and so,

https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install just clone this and use install it the wineprefix that steam made for the game. Remember you need start teh game one time so the prefix gets created
unsure if it fully saves you keyboard config as it should when i tryed to play online my C button did not work. it crashes with a error EVERY time you close the game about you played
i might miss soemthing for i did not play to much and i only used keyboard due to i get a linux problem with my stick that when i use a controller at times 6 4 inputs are not regristrated so not sure if its diffrent in the controll settings if you use a stick instead of keyboard. but other then that it works really well. you can use the normal proton version for it loads up and thn when the video load you get a crash. but when it updated higher then 5.9.6 its allways worth trying.
the main menu video dont work but just press a the menu will come up rest works as it should
the video playing in the start menu dont work
starts but when loading into saved game and gseeing the wrolds. i jsut liek white fog and you are character is this white fog too.
now it run as it should the ingame cutsances showed as they where in enegine i think.
steam where not able to download my cloud data might be unlucky when i tryed it.
runs and works. but you get no floor textures inside. so you cant really see where you are going.
find not really any gameplay problems it skips opening video. but other then that works fine from my savefile
