If game does not launch, Open Steam in Big Picture Mode via View menu on toolbar, then Delete Proton Cache Files before exiting. Exit via power - exit Big Picture Mode. Restart Steam and Viola! Hopefully it helps. If you get killed by Slamamander, sorry. :)
