The only change I did was switch to Proton Experimental. Game worked flawlessly at max settings on a 3080ti. Nvidia driver 525.89.02
Access violation error C0000005h in thread 'Main'
Can't even run the game using any version of Proton I try. I will update if I find a config that works.

I'm trying different versions of proton, nothing seems to matter :/ Game continues to use CPU while appearing stuck, not sure what's happening

Alt-tabbing out leads to an unrecoverable black window; app must then be force-quit

I love this game, so this is disappointing
It works on my Steam Deck, but not on my Threadripper/Nvidia machine

The fact that it works on my Deck leads me to believe that it's one of those games that breaks when you run with many cores, but "taskset -c 0-5 %command%" to limit it to the first 6 cores didn't help, so now I'm S.O.L. on my main gaming machine. :/
Tiny interface text
Under Properties for the game, if you set the resolution to 1600x900, and check off "Set resolution for internal and external display," it WILL fullscreen, but the interface text will still be hard to read

I had to use the taskset trick for startup options or it froze (I have a Threadripper).
Crashes on "Link2EA.exe"
Apparently it tries to link my Steam account to EA, but that exe crashes out. So the game never runs, because the friggin Link2EA.exe has the bug, not the game. ::eyeroll:: ::facepalm:: I tried a number of different Proton versions. Someone here said "make sure to clear out any old Proton versions for this game if you tried a few" but I have no idea how to do that; I'm "Irrumatio" on Steam if you want to help me with that; I'm commandline-friendly.

Now it's broken again (same issue as before- EA app) but only because the EA app that it forces to launch first is. What a POS.
Main menu looks great. Game won't fire up though.
GeForce 3080Ti on NixOS. Main menu looks great! Game bricked while loading though.

This UE4-engine'd game fails to start.
