does not work well with direcx11 but the problem is persistent even on windows, setting "-nod3d11" give me 144fps with some framedrops in new areas and remember to select direcx9 in game settings too
game is unplayable because of violent stuttering but there's a simple solution:
Open the folder "My Documents\My Games\Dishonored\DishonoredGame\Config" or right click on steam library and "browse local files" Open the file "DishonoredEngine.ini" with Notepad.exe Find the following section: bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE MinSmoothedFrameRate=30 MaxSmoothedFrameRate=130 Change the last line to your native monitor refresh rate (probably 60), so: MaxSmoothedFrameRate=60
I would give it a gold rate but is not perfect after tweaks, just some framerate drops in new areas or at the very beginning of a new level, just wait a minute to let it load the assets, situation is a bit worse then PREY which is like native
all set to ultra and 1080p runs at 40-50 fps with some fps drops but seams to be a common problem with this game and unreal engine (lots of post processing to simulate senua's psychosis) maybe with "-nod3d11" works better, never tried personally
works like native and the resolution problem is affecting even the windows version
60-70fps after tweaks, but with some framedrops in new areas (which happens to me even in windows) before tweaks frame drops are more frequent and worse. I think because of directx11 --seams to be the problem in all my windows game when dx9 seams to play fine
