No audio problem yet in my case, but it seems to be common for other users to have mute cutscenes.
Main menu opened fine, but the game crashed after trying to load an old savefile or start a new one. Seems that it was related to the installation path, so I moved the game to a folder with a shorter path. After doing it, the game loaded my old save file perfectly and was able to start a new game too. -Apparently not a lot of people has this issue, it seems to run fine on Linux generally.
This game ran perfectly, or as perfect as it can run; then I tried to install Vortex Mod Manager, it was a nightmare.
It's Fallout, of course I had stability issues. Incredibly great game but the Creation Engine is problematic even on Windows. Surprisingly it ran the same here on Linux.
Just random New Vegas bugs.
I know that Vortex Mod Manager is not part of the game itself, but if someone wants to install it to try some mods, it can become a nightmare, so here's how I made it run.
-On the Lutris library you can find a Vortex version published by "Black Tree Gaming", but a lot of people, including me, suffered to make it run. The software installs normally, it advices you during installation (on Lutris) to quit online connection and disable automatic updates to avoid future problems, and even if you do it as it says, it might not run after you close it for the first time.
To fix this, you need to: -Click on Vortex > "Configure" > "Runner options" > "Wine version" and select the default one, which right now is "lutris-7.2-2-x86_64 (default)". -Then go to "System options", disable "Prefer System Libraries" and enable "CLI mode".
This worked for me, but for some reason some weeks later I tried to reinstall Vortex and this tips did not worked, this second time I made it work by just having both "Prefer System Libraries" and "CLI mode" enabled.
-Note that I did not try Mod Organizer 2 on Linux yet.
Installed d3dx10 d3dcompiler_43 d3dcompiler_47 via Protontricks
Here's an in-depth guide on how to fix Just Cause 2 for Linux (Pop!_OS): https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2893202652
Summary:
-Use Proton Experimental. -Install ProtonUp to download and install ProtonGE. -Select ProtonGE on "Compatibility" on the Steam settings for Just Cause 2.
Then if this did not work.
-Install Protontricks and open it. -Select the game "Just Cause 2", then click on "Select the default wineprefix", then on "Install a Windows DLL or component" and locate the following. -"d3dx10" "d3dcompiler_43" and "d3dcompiler_47" -Install those (I think you can also do it by typing ""protontricks 8190 d3dx10 d3dcompiler_43 d3dcompiler_47").
This worked to open the game correctly, but then it crashed on loading screen. Here's how I fixed it:
-Enter on "Advanced Display Settings". -Disable "Decals". -Disable "Bokeh Filter" if it's available for you.
This is how I managed to run this game.
/dxadapter=0 /borderless /windowed /dx11 gamemoderun ./game DRI_PRIME=1
Installed d3dx10, d3dcompiler_43 and d3dcompiler_47 via Protontricks
Moving the mouse causes a loss on FPS's, unrelated to hardware, very weird. Fixed chaning DPI to lower numbers, more details on my Steam guide.
Initially the game did not even open.

Then when I tried to move the mouse in-game, the FPS's went terribly down. From 60 to 10 or lower. The game ran fine while I was not moving the mouse, so it was kind of unplayable.
-Fixed it lowering the DPI levels.
Just Cause 2 definitely runs terrible on Linux, this is how I managed tu play it but it took me much more hours than it should have.
Its modified version of the Avalanche Engine 2.0 from Just Cause 2 make this game share a problem with its predecessor. -Moving the mase causes a loss on FPS's. JC2 had a lot of other problems I had to fix, but for this third part I just had to change de DPI to a lower level, as easy as that. I also installed Gamemode just in case.

Mouse stuttering.
Very poor engine, prone to give you problems.
Was sleepy when I fixed this game so I can't remember what problem I had, but it was easy to fix... So easy that I even forgot about it
DRI_PRIME=1
Sometimes at the start of a new loop, Timber Earth made the framerate drop a little.
I had a problem running this game, I can't remember it right but I think it was the game not opening, it was some weeks ago and I was sleepy so a quick search on Google made me stumble on this launch command ("DRI_PRIME=1") and then the game ran perfectly, so perfect than I even forgot I had a problem with it.
