Works with no problems
It's not a Linux issue but worth noting that the game does block you and stays on connecting or times you out if you log in on a vpn which i forgot about a few times.
The game always starts windowed then after a few seconds goes to full screen but occasionally it crashed in doing so.
Xbox Live login opens up and connected straight away and works as expected.
Other than an occasional crash at launch the perrformance in game is good had no problems when capped at 60fps and can unlock framerate to hit close to 200
Missing images on the login screen and extraction banners on Proton Experimental, Using Proton-GE solved this instantly.
The missing images on the start menu and extraction page I had doesn't affect gameplay so it woulod still play fine out of the box but swapping to Proton-GE makes the game run perfectly with no issues to be found.

Another EAC game not working.
Runs as expected on all renderers but I found Vulkan to be the best choice overall for performance at 4k also my entire Linux gametime of many hundred of hours has been with a Xbox controller which has zero issues and runs flawless.
Runs straight out of the box with the default Proton selected by Steam
Performance is good overal and is close to the 23.8.1 Windows driver performance benchmarks I've seen but falls behind a little on the most recent optimised ones but the game has been running solid overall with no stability or graphical issues so far for me through the first few hours of the game.

Played another 20 hours into the game since my first report and the game still performs great it works ootb with no tinkering as Valve testing auto selects Proton Experimental but there is some large performance gains from tinkering with the latest compiled mesa git giving me a 30% fps increase and a better performance than native Windows gives.

Played to the end of the 5th zone and around 25 hours and not came across any issues.
