After installing GloriousEggroll and gamemode this game can be enjoyed with minimal issues.

Rare hiccups relating to camera freezing when looking around.
Gamemode was used during gameplay.
Game runs perfectly.
Alt tabbing can cause the game to stop responding.
Game runs without any tweaks, easy to launch and play without any hassle.
Recommend Proton over native.
Menu sounds seem to be playing the wrong sounds when using Proton, I have personally heard the start of bird sounds when hovering over menu buttons, however these are the only audio problems I have found.
Using the native version, some objects can be seen through walls and on top of weapons, however this problem does not appear using Proton.

I use gamemode for all my steam games, however, no reason the game shouldn't run without it.
Happened only one time, however the game went totally black and did not respond to any input until relaunched, resulting in loss of progress.
Needed to find the fix in the arch wiki before the game became playable.
