The first time you start the game, a secondary Windows installer for DirectX redistributables appears. After going through the installations, everything goes smooth.
Had a couple of crashes to desktop, but the game has just release so it's acceptable.
I had to remap the left/right D-Pad buttons, that weren't correctly mapped out of the box (the character could only move up and down).
You can decrease TDP up to 6W to decrease battery consumption a bit.
I installed it once, played through it untill I reached the last stage of story mode, then uninstalled. When re-installed, no Steam Cloud data was restored, therefore I lost all of my progress and highscores. Reading on the internet, It doesn't seem to be a Stam Deck exclusive problem though.
The game work with minimal tinkering, i.e. setting the correct Proton version (for CG movies playback) and controller config.
You may have to select the correct resolution in the launcher each time you start the game, otherwise it defaults to 640x480, 16bit depth.
Had to switch to desktop mode, start the launcher, changed resolution settings to 1280x800
