GOG version not playable.
Tried some of the fixes from other reports from here but nothing worked. Menu looks broken, no game graphics when blindly clicking to start a new game. Steam version seems to work according to other reports.
GoG install files installed via Lutris
Bought the GoG version which didn't run properly on my Heroic Games Launcher - Lutris did the job out of the box!
Just dowload the installation files from GoG and run a lutris.net search for the installation routine. Select the installer (64bit worked fine for me) and let it do the magic :-)
Makes fun at the moment.
Works great!
Great out of the Box! Funny game with couch coop. Made it to the second boss but it seems to get to hard for my wife to have fun any longer :-( - hope she will have a few more tries.
Works even better than on Windows - especially the controller Support for DS4 is great!
Make sure to install the game on a native Linux partition (e.g. ext4) - Many games don't even start when installed on NTFS.
Little stutters especially in the main menu
The intro gave only a black screen while playing audio.
Works on Fedora 42 on two devices, but this one needed to switch to Proton (maybe because of the Nvidia card). Works fine oob on the other device with Ryzen 7 and onboard graphics. Couldn't get it running yet on a Ryzen 5 4x Laptop with Kubuntu 24.10.
gamemoderun %command% -nojoy -vulkan
There was just a black screen instead of the menu screen before implementing launch options - game was not playable
PULSE_LATENCY_MSEC=60 %command%
Sound got worse over time before tinkering
Stuttered from time to time before tinkering
also fixed with tinkering
Without tinkering there are some stutter issues and a sound glitch that leads to broken sound over time. Also a few crashes which are gone now.
Needs to run on native Linux partition - did not start on a NTFS partition
