Forgot to report back in March when I completed the game, but everything ran as it should and was able to get all achievements. Doubt 5 months has made a difference since Frog Detective 2 runs good as well.
With newer version of proton window did not appear
It worked initially without the window disappearing, but later, without any intervention on my part it refused to run without changing the proton version.
Quick little game with a little humor. Easy to 100%.
Usual 30FPS lock with the performance menu. VSync on.
There is a launcher to deal with for keybinds and graphics settings (worth reading what the presets are). Not a big deal really. Just make sure to have mouse input somewhere in your control layout, or just use the default hotkey of the Steam Deck for mouse input with the right trackpad.
launcher requires use of touchscreen - you just need to push "ok", no problems.
Only starts with Wine D3d11. The two bottom graphics settings don't work - the game starts but everything is black (so I played on "she hit the floor"). Had some weird issues with mouse controls (looking around) in the first room but once I reached the island, everything was fine. Looking around with the magnifying glass feels a little weird but you don't use it much in the game anyway.
