Framerate is all over the place. Sometimes it's at 90 fps and then I turn around and it drops to 20 fps before climbing to 40-50. On Windows, using the same graphics settings, performance is noticeably better.
Severe stutter when entering a new area. Goes away after a while.
The game tries to install Microsoft VC Redist Package every time it starts but it runs fine anyway. I derped around for a few minutes and didn't see any issues. Had to turn off FXAA and set draw distance to "low spec" to maintain semi-consistent 60fps but I remember that performance was bad on Windows as well. The studio works fine too.
Performance is abysmal out of the box. The game can't maintain 60 fps on the lowest graphics settings. With D9VK, I'm getting 100-150 fps (framerate unlocked) on the highest settings with PhysX turned on.
Resolution is very low on frist startup but can be easily changed.
Runs perfectly out of the box, including Xbox One controller support
Noticeable audio crackling in some locations
Install the game and protontricks, make sure to run the game once (it won't get past the Capcom logo), and then launch the console and run:
protontricks 304240 -q wmp11
No other tinkering was required on my system.
When I set the resolution to 1080p fullscreen, the game starts in a small window about 1/6th the size of the screen and cannot be maximized. Turning fullscreen off locks the mouse in the center of the screen. I haven't touched any settings other than resolution (so no DX10/11).
Installs and runs fine. I beat the game on Linux and only noticed some minor audio issues.
Once or twice I noticed some crackling when playing the instrument.
There's no music (and judging from other reports, it takes more than a simple tweak to get it to work) but other than that, runs fine out of the box.
Only starts with Wine D3d11. The two bottom graphics settings don't work - the game starts but everything is black (so I played on "she hit the floor"). Had some weird issues with mouse controls (looking around) in the first room but once I reached the island, everything was fine. Looking around with the magnifying glass feels a little weird but you don't use it much in the game anyway.
Played in 1080p fullscreen, 16x anisotropic filtering and no other changes to settings. Works fine and there are no performance issues.
I've only tested Ben There, Dan That so far. Most graphics filters only work in windowed mode, so I wouldn't say it runs perfectly, but you can definitely play it without any tweaks.
Initially starts in a small window but can be easily changed to fullscreen. Runs flawlessly on Proton 3.16-9 Beta, including Xbox One controller support. Has major graphics glitches on Proton 4.2-3, even on WineD3D.
Runs out of the box with no tweaks. Mostly stays above 60fps at 1080p with most settings at Medium and resolution and textures at Ultra, but sometimes dips to around 50. No idea if that's worse than on Windows, though.
