A minority of the textures had ghosting issues.

I Iike to have a L3 run button. Also turned on Gyro with a low sensibility for micro ajustments in my aiming. Also lowered the joypad sensibility a bit.
For a stable 40fps:
I left everything as default except FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0, which I turned off. You get a sharper and clear image.
In the Steam Deck Performance tab: Frame Limit: 40 FPS Allow Tearing: On TDP Limit: Off Manual GPU Limit: 1600 mhz

MInor nitpick: the side menu (from pressing the "..." button) was slightly stretched, with only half of the upper bar (where the time and battery icon is) showing. The time was still readable.
I have played the game via family share so it does not shown as me owning it.

This game runs extremely good on the Steam Deck for how good it looks. Played it out of the box with the Steam Deck plugged into a 1080p TV. Played through the whole game without even noticing I am on the Deck. Very well optimized, a must play imo

These settings prioritise good image quality while still maintaining 60fps with HDR at 800p. No need for FSR.
Set Steam Deck OLED to 60Hz in overlay
Display->HDR Mode: On
Graphics-> Display Mode: Full Screen Resolution: 1280x720 (Ray Tracing: Off) Rendering Mode: Normal Image Quality: 100% FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0: Off Refresh Rate: 60.00Hz Frame Rate: 60 V-Sync: On Anti-aliasing: FXAA+TAA Texture Quality: High (3GB) Texture Filter Quality: High (ANISO x8) Mesh Quality: High Shadow Quality: Medium Shadow Cache: On Contact Shadows: On Screen Space Reflections: Off Subsurface Scattering: On Volumetric Lighting Quality: Medium Partical Lighting Quality: High Ambient Occlusion: SSAO Bloom: On Lens Flare: On Motion Blur: On Depth of Field: On Lens Distortion: On (+chromatic aberration) Film Noise: On
This gives a no-compromise play of the game at 720p 60fps with HDR.

Runs great, got it running at full 90fps on my OLED Deck with no drops on mid/high settings
Text on the menus is a little small. I think it's still very readable, but something to keep in mind if you have a visual impairment.
Presets for 90fps:
Display Mode: Full Screen
Resolution: 1200x800
Ray Tracing: Off
FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0: Balanced
Refresh Rate: 90hz
Frame Rate: Variable
V-Sync: On
Anti-aliasing: TAA
Texture Quality: High (3GB)
Texture Filter Quality: High (ANISO x8)
Mesh Quality: High
Shadow Quality: Medium
Shadow Cache: On
Contact Shadows: On
Screen Space Reflections: On
Subsurface Scattering: Off
Volumetric Lighting Quality: High
Particle Lighting Quality: High
Ambient Occlusion: FidelityFX CACAO
Bloom: On
Lens Flare: On
Motion Blur: Off
Depth of Field: On
Lens Distortion: On (+chromatic aberration)
Film Noise: On (This doesn't effect performance, just preference)

Jugado por mas de 1hora con graficos recomendados no encontre problema alguno de rendimiento, aun asi se podria tocar mas las configuraciones para una mayor autonomia de la bateria si asi se desea.

Great experience from start to finish

Works Fantastically on the Deck OLED. Over all a great experience even on Default settings.
Increased gyro sensitivity
Crackling when resuming from sleep mode
FPS dips on Default settings, drop shadows to High to reduce significantly. FSR Ultra Quality.
I used CryoUtilities and changed bios VRAM UMA frame buffer. No issues or stuttering.

Чисто для удобства
Фпсик скачет местами, но не сильно мешает
Если поплясать с бубном, в Биосе полазить для большей RAM, то летать будет пуще прежнего (все настройки которые вы делаете сами, лежат ответственностью на ваших плечах)

Used ps4 controller and external monitor on steam deck. Everything worked out-of-the-box.

runs OOTB without problems. The performance is great on the deck
The crashing, which is happening every time I play now, completely ruins the experience. I suspect it's a memory issue?
FSR Quality, 40Hz
The game has been crashing after gaming over a period of time. Today was about 90 minutes of playing in a later part of Claire-A story.
I am using Cryoutities and the 4GB VRAM setting in the BIOS, so it's possible that this is my fault. But, there's no reason the changes should break the game, unless there are memory leak issues. Very disappointing, because when it works, it's an extremely good experience. Playing on the main branch "RT" version, obviously with RT off.
Feels like a verified game, no issues except a couple unnoticable stutters here and there, completely playable and feels like a console smooth experience.
45-50HZ framerate + TDP cap. Experiment at your leisure.
Cannot use both gamepad + mouse input at same time - can't use trackpad for mouse aiming
Runs smooth as a baby's skin.
I mapped the sprint button, which is normally "B", to a back grip button. This allows me to sprint while keeping my right thumb on the right stick.
I set up gyro to only activate when I'm touching the right stick. This is rather helpful in gunfights.
locked at 40 FPS
It can unsync if you make the deck to sleep several times, if this happens just restart the game.
Runs great out of the box
Can be played on Steam Deck at a locked 50fps with good image quality using the following setup:
Deck Settings:
-Framerate Limit: 50 -Refresh Rate: 50Hz -Scaling Filter: Linear
Game Settings:
-Use DX11 branch (Properties-> Betas) -Rendering Mode: Normal -Image Quality 100% -Frame Rate: Variable -Vsync: Off -Anti-Aliasing: FXAA+TAA -Texture Quality: High (2GB) -Texture Filter Quality: High (ANISO x16) -Mesh Quality: Medium -Shadow Quality: Medium -Shadow Cache: On -Contact Shadows: On -Screen Space Reflections: On -Subsurface Scattering: On -Volumetric Lighting Quality: Medium -Partical Lighting Quality: High -Ambient Occulusion: SSAO (Set Areas Only) -Bloom: On -Lens Flare: On -Motion Blur: On -Depth of Field: On -Lens Distortion: On (+chromatic aberrition) -Film Noise: On
This game is well-optimized that you have a lot of options in how you could improve battery life. I basically lowered resolution to 960x540, set everything to medium graphic settings except for texture which stay on high, use steam deck fsr (not in game), and I had 60fps with like almost 4 hours of battery life.
You can play this on the default settings but set your fps limit to 30fps....or find your graphical balance, play at 40 or 60fps and the fidelity of the game doesn't suffer much. A very well-made engine this game has.

Mapped R4 to A button
Limited to 30fps
Some of the notes and drawings you find are difficult to make out

On vanilla Proton some videos don't play, showing a test pattern. Everything appears to work perfectly using GE-Proton.
Set 40 Hz refresh rate and 40 FPS cap in Deck options, and Variable FPS and Balanced preset in game's graphics settings.
With the right graphics settings the game runs very well but can be a bit of a battery hog.
Aiming for maximum battery life: set the game to 30fps, TDP to 6 watts, and gpu clock to 1000 Mhz. Setting the "interlace" graphics option on also alleviates GPU strain. Setting the refresh rate to 40hz in gamescope is also a great option (make sure in-game frame limiter is set to "Variable").
Despite being able to lock to a consistent 60fps and the VRAM utilization in-check there's some stuttering/loading hitches present. Mostly alleviated when running the game in 30fps or setting the refresh rate to 40hz.
This report was made from several hours of play with different save files in various parts of the game (mostly as Claire).
The game runs great, and allows for a lot of options in customizing your performance. The artifacting is minimal.
Lowered TDP to 13w, GPU clock to 1300 MHz
Some of the shadowing and reflections under and around Leon were acting strange or missing.
The artifacting was seeing strange white banding in the bottom right corner of the screen when moving the camera in certain directions.
Got a stable 60fps with a mix of medium/high settings(only slightly tweaked from defaults. No tweaking or even change of Proton version was neccessary.
Some text is a smidge to small for my liking.
I played well with the Balanced preset, although the frame rate did drop in boss fights.
